Aerisdies watermark?

Posted under General

Alright. I marked post #329188 for deletion due to the Aerisdies watermark. Then I realized that the image had already been approved by a mod/janitor (the poster was a normal member), and that there was an aerisdies tag, with posts in it that were fairly recent. Was it a mistake to flag it, and should I have just added that tag, or what?

I'm the uploader and sorry about me being a newbie to danbooru but after i saw the reason as to what the response to the image was, i quickly checked the aerisdies tag. There are quite a few aerisdies pictures that are already up and if mine would be flagged for deletion, the rest should too.
Although to be fair, I think all aerisdies pictures with the tag should be taken down since it could be gotten in that site. This is just an opinion. It would also same some bandwith??<-questionable.
I just randomly picked a picture i had and uploaded and of all the pictures here, i had a picture that wasn't up on this site.

If you flag a pic for deletion it automatically get "approved", but gets the deletion flag, so if someone decides to not delete the pic and remove the flag it will become approved, and wont come back to the moderation queue

Really? I swore I've seen unapproved pics flagged, but apparently not. Odd.

In any case, there are only 20 aerisdies images left, out of far more than that that have been posted and subsequently deleted, so I vote we just get rid of them all and summarily delete all aersidies/hentaikey/etc watermarked images no matter who uploaded them.

Of course only people who understand the difference between a third party watermark and the original signature/url of the actual artist should be doing so. We've had some misunderstandings on what 'watermark' means in the past.
