Last discussed in topic #10055. I'd still prefer to keep them separate.
For one, anal beads aren't really the same thing as a butt plug so the name of the tag would be inaccurate if we did your alias.
-1. I don't agree to this alias because currently butt_plug_tail implicates butt_plug, but things that are under anal_beads_tail should not be tagged butt_plug, because they're not butt plugs and don't belong under that tag.
I think the butt_plug_tail tag needs to be reworked, particularly rename the butt_plug_tail tag to something more general ("anal_tail," "anal_insertion_tail," or something else). The butt_plug_tail tag currently has at least 3 types of depictions: (1) images of butt plug tails (post #1625509, properly tagged due to implication), (2) images of anal bead tails (post #1179133, improperly tagged due to implication), and (3) anal tail, those that you can't identify how it stays in (post #1572254, also improperly tagged due to implication). 2 of the 3 shouldn't be tagged butt_plug, as they do not depict the object that the butt_plug tag is used for. This issue could be resolved by removing the butt_plug_tail -> butt_plug implication, but I think going further and renaming the butt_plug_tail tag is better, as you we don't have to associate it with just butt_plugs with the new naming. We can alias butt_plug_tail and anal_beads_tail to the new tag, and when the appropriate object (anal beads or butt plug) is visible, then they should be independently tagged.
Bumping because I'm curious what happened here. It seems like someone recently purged both anal_beads_tail and butt_plug_tail, but it doesn't appear to have been a bulk update, and whoever did this didn't bother to let anyone else know or even update either of the wikis.
