danbooruup autocomplete component not registered properly

I've got a brand new installation of Firefox 2.0.0.14 on a completely fresh install of XP SP2 and I'm getting the "The autocomplete component does not appear to be registered properly. Autocomplete will not work" message.

Probably related is that the source field is never populated when I go to upload an image and (obviously) the tags box in the upload window doesn't autocomplete tags. Also when I go to update the tags in the extension options, a progress window pops up but sits there doing nothing until I force the window closed (cancel button does nothing).

Another equally fresh computer works just fine, am I missing some prerequisite or something?

In your options, what two URLs are you pointing to?

The error message appeared immediately after restarting firefox to enable the extension when it had the defaults (which I believe is miezaru). I've since changed it to http://danbooru.donmai.us/tag/index.xml and http://danbooru.donmai.us/post/create.xml in the respective fields. It doesn't seem to matter what is in them as the error is immediate upon Firefox starting up.

Sounds like the same error I get with Firefox 3. But FF3 has a completely different autocomplete thingy I think, which is why FF3 doesn't work well, not sure why you're FF2 wouldn't work...

Sorry to bump this after so long, but my new PC is having this same problem.

Does it have something to do with vista? (I'm not using the new Firefox 3 btw)

I know I'm double posting but I'm still having this problem. Is there a solution yet?

Problems are:
1. Source isn't automatically added to source field.
2. Auto-tag function doesn't work at all.

(I'm using Vista and running Firefox ver. 2.0.0.17)

Getting the same problem. Had to format and now it doesnt work at all.

These things work for me, using danbooruup. I remember there was some sort of javascript conflict between autocomplete on the site and autocomplete in danbooruup. You could only have one or the other, not both. I choose danbooruup. I don't remember what the fix was.

I didn't know there was an option of having autocomplete without danbooruup.

It's the "related tags, characters, copyrights, artists" feature you see when you upload or edit tags.

It's useful in many ways, but I still miss the type as you go autofill from the extension.

Related tags is different from autocomplete imo.
