World of Witches Tagging

For "crossovers" where the only element of the crossover is wearing of the striker unit, should those posts be tagged with Strike Witches or just World Witches Series? For reference, Strike Witches implies World Witches Series, so it'll get tagged either way.

My preference would be to use just the World Witches Series tag, unless there is something to specifically calls out to either Strike Witches or Brave Witches, e.g. cosplaying in a specific character's uniform.

How do we want to handle images where no members of the 501st or 502nd Joint Fighter Squadrons appear in the image?

Should those be tagged with just the World Witches Series tag...? That would require less tag updating in the case that the other squadrons get a spinoff series like Brave Witches, plus you could find all posts that don't contain the 501st and 502nd by doing a search for World Witches Series -strike_witches -brave_witches.

My initial thought was if they appear in the Strike Witches anime franchise (aside from Nipa and Sasha and whoever else in the Brave Witches that appears), then it's fair to tag them as "Strike Witches" but characters outside that should be tagged as just "World of Witches". I wouldn't limit the Strike Witches tag to just 501st members as it makes sense to also tag their friends and relatives who appear in the anime.

Yeah, I concur on those that appear in the anime/movie should also get tagged.

The one caveat I would add is ...

• if a character from another unit or squadron that appeared in the anime/movie
• appears with other members of their unit that did not appear in the anime/movie
• with none of the 501st/502nd members present

... would not get tagged Strike Witches/Brave Witches.

Yeah, sounds like a good rule to me.
