Not to be an ass or anything, but how much does that actually help? knee_boots is already the third most populated tag under knee*, so you're saving at best one keystroke for autocomplete ("down, down" on the arrows vs one stroke of 'B').

I don't think it's actually that necessary since I usually type knee_b<tab> to get to it, but if chinatsu thinks it helps with tagging then so be it I suppose.

On second thought though, an alias might be a little expensive so I'll rescind my support. I'm neither for or against this.

Well I'd like a lot of these aliases for aiding in tagging. Short over long sleeves also trips me up a lot. I guess if it's taxing on the servers than never mind.

If your autocomplete setting is turned off and if this is your only goal then this would probably make sense. Otherwise I'd suggest to hover over the autocomplete box whenever you try to tag a post with knee boots. Tagging with this box is way faster if you are used to it :3.
