If I understand correctly, both tags are referring to the same series? I am not too sure why there are two different tags such I guess that should be aliased? And per previous discussions it seems like honkai_impact would be a better tag to use than benghuai_xueyuan?

Benghuai Xueyuan refers to a different "title" rather than being an immediate Honkai Impact game. They do share characters and all that but it's still ultimately a different game if I recall.

So after some searches I see a few problems in this:

• It seems like there are three games for the series, Benghuai Xueyuan, Benghuai Xueyuan 2, and Benghuai 3 or known as Benghuai 3rd.
• The game Benghuai Xueyuan 2 is officially translated as Guns Girl School Dayz, while Benghuai 3 is officially translated as Honkai Impact 3. Very little information about the first game on the internet.
• On Chinese Wikipedia article about the series, it claims that the serious is known as Benghuai series or Benghuai Xueyuan series. Is it true that both are the series name?
• Can the "Houkai Impact" part of the title in the 3rd English game be adopted to refer to the entire series?
• If not, then what should be the name of the entire series in English?
• Or, if benghuai_xueyuan tag is being used to refer to things related to the 2nd game benghuai_xueyuan_2 and the honkai_impact is being used to refer to the 3rd game honkai_impact_3 only, should both tags be respectively renamed accordingly?

So there were actually two different benghuai_xueyuan on the internet. One is the initial game released in year 2012, a single player ios-only game, official English name for the game is The End of School. And then there's another one which is the Taiwanese edition of benghuai_xueyuan, which is actually a re-release of benghuai_xueyuan 2, because another licensor in Taiwan re-license the game.

Yeah, the whole thing was a mess in Taiwan which eventually lead to the creation of Honkai Impact 3rd which wanted to branch themselves completely off 崩坏学园's rather messy situation, and story. Hence why HI3 has managed to attain a much higher rate of success due to an entire new storyline, character developments, interactions, et cetera. The majority of people I know that gave Benghuai Xueyuan a go really disliked the base game itself but stuck with it due to liking the characters themselves albeit that changed after HI3 launched which changed their "like" to "love" of certain ladies.

mass update honkai_impact -> honkai_impact_3
create implication honkai_impact_3 -> copyright:honkai_(series)
create implication benghuau_xueyuan -> copyright:honkai_(series)

I'm at least for renaming the game to Honkai Impact 3rd, since that's the name everywhere, even in the game.
