Tag Alias: Harry James Potter

Y'mind if I go through the "harry_potter_(character)" tags and change 'em to his full name (looks better, I think)? Are there any pics with him that a regular user can't see (I'd imagine, given their ages when it starts)?

harry_potter_(character) loli -- exactly one. But such things are better handled by an alias, so there's no need to do it manually. Just request an alias.

I don't know how common his middle name is in normal usage, but it's Harry Potter and only 25 images so I don't care enough to worry about it. So, alias added.

IIRC back when we had a lot more oneword tags I instituted harry_potter for the character keeping harrypotter for the series, but they were at some point aliased leading to the harry_potter_(character) tag. The full name is a lot more user-friendly having 100% less parenthesis.

Bringing up:
hermione_granger <-> hermione_jean_granger
ron_weasley <-> ronald_bilius_weasley
ginny_weasley <-> ginevra_molly_weasley (ONE pic?!)

harry_potter is the only one that really matters because _(character) qualifiers are dumb.

Just because we prefer full names doesn't mean we need to use middle names too. It just makes things needlessly more difficult.

Case in point: ashelia_b'nargin_dalmasca. I just want to slap someone every time I have to type that.

As others said. It was only done to Harry because it got rid of the need for a qualifier. We don't *have* to do it for the others, so I'm leaving them as is.

It appears the ashe tag is already taken by the rockman_zx character (i.e., post #302952 and post #302969). There are only three posts using the tag, though you're going to run into the qualifiers problem again.

Many tags starting with a "/" are shortcut aliases. For example, /h is suzumiya_haruhi, and one-letters are some popular tags, like /b is aliased to breasts and /t is aliased to thighhighs.

The slashes are for shortcuts there are a lot of shortcut aliases in the system. For instance /hig searches for higurashi no naku koro ni /mlsn searches for mahou shoujo lyrical nanoha, I could list more but you can search the alias list for / if you want to see everything we have shortcuts for.
