Singular or plural: button(s)

button and buttons are used for the clothing fasteners as deep as I looked into the tags. More than half of them currently tagged are large buttons but the large buttons are all just a single button. (The scale for large appears to be "too big to be used as an actual fastener, such as the one on Noumi Kudryavka's hat or Moetan's skirt.")

Part of me wants Large buttons aliased singular, implicated to plural buttons but part of me hates having mixed plurality in an implied tag set.

There were only 8 posts under button, I just retagged those that would fit under buttons (for now). The 2 remaining posts involve the kind of button you'd press to activate something.

How about pushbutton for those?

I've retagged button as pushbutton and created a wiki entry. I've created a button -> buttons alias.

I think a case can be made that large buttons are unrelated to buttons, since they don't fasten anything. But I'm willing to be convinced otherwise.
