I've noticed there are a number of Glaucus and Deepcolor arts tagged with animal_ears despite being based on sea slug and octopus respectively. On the basis of IRL Glaucus, it seemed her "ears" are oral tentacles and since Deepcolor is an octopus, would it be plausible to use tentacle_hair instead?
Things like post #4531299 or post #4452031 or post #4554495 look like animal ears, I don't see the point in tagging them with tentacle hair when they are indistinguishable from any other animal ears.
The average user won't care about their taxonomical definition, if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck it's a duck.
Those don't look like tentacle hair. So 'canon-tagging' that way would be problematic because those are probably not what people are looking for when searching tentacle hair.
