nuke water_surface
Tag padding. Can apply to basically every water post.
If i remember correctly the tag was supposed to be used for artworks where the surface is only water (eg. post #3393647)
The wiki being badly written doesn't help.
As it is right now, the tag is useless on it's former purpose (again, if i remember correctly), but i believe it could be salvaged.
Otherwise, there would be no tag to search for such artworks.

Well, that's a terrible name for the tag then. We might as well create another tag and just get rid of this one.
+1, i'd like to garden the new tag before this one is nuked, but i can't think of a good name. water world, water floor, and water horizon came to mind, but they do not sound any better than the current one.
Though it would be a counterintuitive name for ESL users.

I don't understand what you're saying it should be used for. The surface of what?
Artworks like post #3620951 or post #3669918. People or objects standing over a water surface stretching to the horizon.
It's a fairly common scenery concept i feel, it also appears in the train scene of Spirited Away (post #1155183, for example).
water world sounds like a more apt and intuitive name.

I think it wouldn't fit because it could also be used for underwater sceneries ala Subnautica, which would bring us back to square one.
Would water plane get confused with seaplane?
I created water world, with a note in the wiki about not using it with underwater, and went through all water surface posts to populate it.
There's more posts under water wide_shot -water_world, if someone wants to go through them to help populate it.

Done.
Bringing this back. Is there any way to differentiate salt flats from water world, other than ripples?
(See also: salar de uyuni)
BUR #8426 has been rejected.
create implication salar_de_uyuni -> salt_flats
In the meanwhile, gonna do the obvious
