How did gardevoirgal get contributor status?

I know that much. Just curious as to why its contributor instead of privileged or something. I don't really care it's just weird.

They were also invited over a year ago. Things were a lot looser then. I'm sure you could find dozens of other similar users. It's not against the rules, really, but proper etiquette (nowadays) would be to go with privileged.

Edit: Actually, I should say they joined over a year ago. So the invite might have been much more recent, I'm realizing. Did it just happen? For someone who doesn't upload, there's absolutely no difference between privileged and contributor.

I'm thinking the invite might have been pretty recent. I usually look through gardevoirgal's favorites to find bad images that should be flagged for deletion since he/she has a reputation for fav'ing a lot more bad images than good ones.

gardevoirgal really does favorite almost any even remotely risque post, no matter how bad it is. 2017 deleted pics in his/her favorites accounts for that.

I feel a kinship seeing that screenname in the "Favorited by" field...

My memory is hazy, but I remember that gardevoirgal was promoted to contributor status about a couple of months after I joined Danbooru, so the invite wasn't recent.
