For something to be visually between toes, there has to be visible toes.
Also consistency with between_breasts and between_pectorals

In that case it's not between_toes since that 1 pixel there is white between the fish and the foot.
Also you can still see the toe, but if you want to say that if lowres toes are not qualified, then yes, it's a contradiction.

There's also things like post #3107626 or post #2985185. There's few posts under toes tabi and they mostly appear to be for visible toes through the fabric or for a single bare foot, not for cases like these two posts.

Yeah, they do indicate that there are toes although I wouldn't want to find a character wearing tabi when searching for toes,
and the wiki for toes is not clear about whether it can be visible naked toes or if they can be under clothing either.
By the current definition it can be everything that has a resemblance to a toe.

I'm going to say that if a picture is tagged with greek_toe or spread_toes in the first point then it's likely anyone searching for toes would want to see them.
