create implication merry_christmas -> christmas
If happy new year implies new year, surely merry christmas should imply christmas, right?
Merry Christmas, btw!

Previously rejected in topic #5366 and again in topic #14826 because the phrase sometimes appears in posts that are otherwise completely unrelated to the holiday.
The christmas tag is vague and subjective, as evazion noted last time, but it should at least mean something. If we start using christmas for things like post #4660177, then it ceases to be useful for filtering out posts that aren't Christmas-related, and we might as well nuke it altogether at that point.

Fair point. I guess that doesn't happen with new year as often.

Oh, it most certainly does. There are plenty of posts like post #2974980 and post #4861704 with no new_year imagery whatsoever, but that implication passed without question anyway because it was "pretty obvious". Also nengajou -> new_year, but at least most nengajou posts tend to be themed around zodiac animals or typical new year celebration stuff.

Should I request to remove the implication, then?
