A while back, I brought up historical_reference_connection as a subset of name_connection but someone has been applying the tag to original personifications that aren't part of any copyright. I was wondering if this should be considered a proper use of the tag.
I mean, historical_reference_connection was meant to showcase different personifications/adaptations of the same object/person together and/or with the object/person. The pictures I'm referring to showcase completely unique personifications that don't show up anywhere else with the object in question.
ah after quickly checking the tag i think i see the issue, if you're talking about the likes of post #745720 then it's clearly mistagging
Okay, I've got to be honest. I think you might have been overzealous in remove the tag. historical_reference_connection was meant to connect to be used with commonly-used personifications from popular franchises when placed with the original object. I was more specifically referring to entirely original personifications.
