The question is, when you search for Gotoh Hitori, do you expect her other forms to show up? (Or if you are a truly fucked up individual and blacklist her, do you want to avoid the other forms too?) I think you would if she's the focus of the image, even in ocopus/tsuchinoko form, but I'm not so sure about a picture of one of the other girls with a lil Bocchi on their head or something.
Looking at ~gotoh_hitori_(octopus) ~gotoh_hitori_(tsuchinoko) -gotoh_hitori, (apart from post #6474862 which appears to have been a mistagged regular Bocchi and I fixed), most of them do seem to feature Bocchi as more of an accessory than a character. For post #6287196 I can see an argument for tagging the main char tag, but for the likes of post #6338276 it definitely doesn't seem appropriate.
Well, the precedent is that if there's a transformed/animal form for a character, it implies the original character as well. See, for example, Hakurei Reimu (fox)
If people don't want non-human bocchis in their bocchi search, they can use -animalization. If they want a different non-human bocchi, they can use relevant feature's tags like cat_girl
We also need to do Bocchi's family as well. I... don't remember their names, though.
and one last thing. Would it be worth creating an alias of Bocchi_(Bocchi_the_Rock!) > gotoh_hitori? I could see people not knowing her real name, or getting her confused with Hitori Bocchi
