Where is the button to delete my account?

I go to the https://danbooru.donmai.us/settings section of my profile but I can't find the Delete button anywhere. Was there any way to delete my account?

The ability to delete your account was disabled after a bad actor was abusing the feature. There's no official statement on when the feature will return.

You can deactivate your account instead if you go to your settings:[https://danbooru.donmai.us/settings], then select Advanced section in your settings at the top and then selecting "Deactivate account".

That's the exact thing they were trying to do but couldn't, it was disabled until recently
