Lucifer's disambiguation

Posted under Tags

BUR #23208 has been approved by @nonamethanks.

rename lucifer_(hazbin_hotel) -> lucifer_morningstar_(hazbin_hotel)
rename lucifer -> lucifer_(mythology)
rename satan -> satan_(mythology)
deprecate lucifer
deprecate satan
deprecate lucifer_morningstar

Both lucifer and satan itself are ambiguous tags, that could be better used as disambiguation, while lucifer_morningstar is ambiguous between the DC and the Hazbin Hotel one (the later also needing to be renamed, as it's confirmed by the series and official social networks his surname)

I think many character tags under Lucifer and Satan should be given the names of their copyrights because they are specific to those and not a generic depiction. Satan and Lucifer should also probably be one tag because popular culture commonly considers them to be two names for the same figure.

BUR #23210 has been rejected.

rename lucifer_morningstar -> lucifer_morningstar_(dc_comics)
rename lucifer_(hazbin_hotel) -> lucifer_morningstar_(hazbin_hotel)

Tagging it with "the bible" is ridiculous (that sounded harsh, not directed at you personally) as that is exactly where most depictions are drawn from, cases like hazbin hotel are exceptions for having their own establish "character" of him. Satan/Lucifer are also slightly different enough that they should stay different tags imo, isn't Lucifer mostly used with more human takes while Satan is for generic red devils leading hell?

Some think that Lucifer is Satan's angelic name before he fell from heaven, but like all other information regarding the Devil, this is popular folklore not supported by either the Bible or the dogma of any Abrahamic faith.
It's also not reflected in tags, in fact many Satan pics are tagged as such only because thet mention its name on a shirt. I think it's redundant to keep them separate.

I disagree with renaming the Lucifer of Christianity "Lucifer Morningstar". Lucifer means "morning star". Lucifer Morningstar isn't portrayed as his full name except in the DC and HH incarnations.

I did not know that. Removed it.
