Type Moon/Nasuverse series implications

Posted under Tags

BUR #38923 has been rejected.

create implication fate_(series) -> type-moon
create implication tsukihime -> type-moon
create implication mahou_tsukai_no_yoru -> type-moon
create implication kara_no_kyoukai -> type-moon
create alias nasuverse -> type-moon

Given all of these series have a ton of overlap/crossover (Clocktower 2015 is a perfect example, dealing with Lev from FGO but in the Tsukihime Remake setting), to the point most people in the fandom use the term “Nasuverse” as a catch all. I’d argue putting them all under the Type-Moon tag is something to consider.

If not the Type-Moon tag I’d suggest making a new “Type-Moon Shared Setting” or “Nasuverse” tag for this purpose

Fate is 260k posts, KnK is 2.5k posts, Tsuki is 8k posts and Mahoyo doesn't even have 1k posts.
It'd make a nasuverse tag essentially useless because 95% of the posts under that tag would just be Fate posts.

In the 2 years since these ratios haven't significantly changed. In fact, Fate now takes up an even bigger slice of the pie.

I will also say that as-is the Type-Moon tag is supposed to be for posts referencing multiple series or the company itself (i.e. Nasu Kinoko), so that's where people can find the crossover content. This also means I have to hop over and clean it up once every few weeks, though, since single-franchise posts also end up in there usually due to the auto-translated tag feature.

That explains, I’d suggest changing the wiki to explain it’s use.

It already does. Third paragraph. Has said it the whole time. Not my fault taggers don't read wikis.
