Character name alias and costume implication

BUR #39517 has been rejected.

create alias kaitou_kid -> kuroba_kaito

Falls into the magical girl tagging conundrum I imagine. There is also some (just some, not a ton) illustrations featuring his dad as the Kaitou Kid: kaitou_kid kuroba_touichi.

As there are not many illustrations of his dad, I created the tag kaitou_kid_(kuroba_touichi) to distinguish them. Is this feasible?

Maybe change kaitou_kid to kaitou_kid_(kuroba_kaito) is better, I dont know how to update the tag across all existing illustrations. If anyone knows how to bulk edit tags in previous entries I'd appreciate.

The best way to handle that would be another BUR to rename the tag.

To get the same effect, you need to make an alias (and an unalias) BUR.

BUR #39530 has been rejected.

create alias kaitou_kid -> kaitou_kid_(kuroba_kaito)
remove alias kaitou_kid -> kaitou_kid_(kuroba_kaito)
create implication kaitou_kid_(kuroba_kaito) -> kuroba_kaito

kaitou_kid is mostly used to describe the theif costume for the character kuroba_kaito
Distinguished from kaitou_kid_(kuroba_touichi)

You need to add a remove alias before the implication because the implication wouldn't work if Kuroba Kaito is aliased to Kaitou Kid (Kuroba Kaito).

The bulk update request #39530 (forum #345358) has been rejected by @Samatoki.

You shouldn't edit BURs after people have voted on them. Making a new one was the right thing to do. It's difficult to tell what people voted on before the edit.

Also, stop making a wiki preemptively for kaitou_kid_(kuroba_kaito). Aliasing/renaming a tag to a different tag will move everything to the new tag name, including wikis.

Sorry, I'm really unfamiliar with BURs usage, as the original content in BUR #39517 was wrong.
