Tag Unimplication: pov_feet

Posted under General

We currently have pov_feet implicating feet. Which is unfortunate with posts such as post #574100, as the definition of "feet" we've always used excludes shoes from consideration (I've added a wiki note to clarify that).

I see three options:

1. Leave it as is and live with the unsatisfying result.
2. Unimplicate it, and have pov_feet include shoes, unlike shoes. IMHO also unsatisfying.
3. Make a new tag (pov_shoes?) to cover this.

Personally I'm unhappy with both 1 and 2, as they lead to pollution of the search results, so I'd vote for 3, although I'm not sure if there's any better name than pov_shoes.

Incidentally, pov_feet doesn't seem to implicate pov, which I guess it should.

I'm sorry, but I see no point why it should be referred with 'pov', next thing you know people will want to come up with pov_arm/legs and whatnot.

If the viewer is being depicted as a person with their POV in the image, then pov should just be tagged alone without any other "pov" tags, it just seems like another way for users to put together two tags just so they have that "third" tag search for characters or whatever.

If anything pov_feet should implicate sole(s) because it seems like that is essentially the reason why it exists.
