The English names (Serena, Darien, etc.) are used only in the DiC/Cloverway dub. The more current Viz dub mostly uses the Japanese names, which leads me to believe the English names are no longer officially used. Thus, the Japanese names are appropriate to use for most characters since they are technically also their English names. However, the Viz dub still refers to Tuxedo Kamen as Tuxedo Mask.
