I’m really glad that there are still feature requests I can make for this site.
This feature is mainly intended to help users who work on mobile devices create notes more easily.
On mobile, due to the nature of the device, it’s difficult to drag, which makes note creation quite challenging(nah, impossible).
With this feature, the site could detect the position of text within the image and automatically generate empty note boxes that fit the text (or perhaps it’s better to make them around 20px wider for extra space).
Users could then tap each box to edit or add content to the notes.
Since most comic speech bubbles consist of black text on a white background, detecting these two elements could be the starting point for implementation.
Tbh this is still just a conceptual idea — I’m not sure how it could actually be implemented. But I believe this could become a useful feature for the site in the future, so I wanted to share it. Thank you!
