Can't delete pending posts

I had to approve post #575376 (warning: Major Scat) in order to delete it. Trying to delete it while it was still pending gave me an error saying "can only unapprove active posts" (or something along those lines). I know I used to be able to delete pending posts, but this is the first time I've tried since the changes, so...

Same thing is happening to me. I've tried to delete post #574862 (requested by the uploader since he flagged it), and it gave me that error too.

Their are posts that should be deleted for not being approved in three days but haven't. Maybe it's related.

Albert may have been trying to make it so test janitors can't delete including from the queue and accidentally made it so nobody can delete from the queue, that's the only thing I can think of.

Thats very likely.

Anyway, its obnoxious, but not something that can't be worked around. (I would have been annoyed if I'd approved it and THEN it wouldn't let me delete it, but thankfully that didn't happen)

Yes, these bugs are the same. Albert changed some things internally a couple days ago and it looks like this bug crept in.

I've raised that issue back at the Moderation Changes thread (forum #31072) because I should've seen five of my unapproved posts deleted by now. RaisingK could back that up. (see "status:pending date:<2009-12-6")

There's an even worse side effect I've mentioned in the trac ticket: re-approved posts now can't be deleted at all. This sucks.

I don't know what is going on but there's a bunch of images flagged in the queue that would have never been (and by all appearances never have been) approved. post #578447, post #578464, post #578446 are the ones in question. It seems to be related to this and the subsequent patch.

Yeah, the patch made it possible to flag pending posts. Kinda pointless, but it doesn't really hurt anything.
