When Do We Create "List of Characters" pages?

Posted under General

So, I recently decided to try giving cleaning up the Nikki wikis a go, one of which includes the various outfit tags, on top of the many characters, starting with Infinity Nikki, the one with the least amount of suits (at time of writing and one I'm currently trying to keep tabs on so that it doesn't get as ridiculously overwhelming as Miracle Nikki and Shining Nikki). However, even with the main list of outfits, it already is starting to get massive, especially once I asset out the page (as its a fashion game and naming all of these is a pain in the ass most days), and that's not getting into the other games...

So what I'm asking is...When is the point reached where creating a "List of Characters" page is acceptable? And have I reached that point yet here?

I think any point where "too big to fit on the main copyright wiki without scrolling way too much" is usually a fair time to break it off. You could also hide it in an [expand] tag if you want, or group the costume tags by character (which, assuming I understand the point of Nikki, meas "nikki herself is dressing up in all these suits" seems equally unfeasible).

Yeah, sounds about right. Guess I'll just use my best judgement here preferably after sleeping.

Yeah, it's why I actively try not to tag her on posts where it could easily be an OC divorced of context, so as to avoid making the actual character nigh impossible to find. Part of why the costume tags got created, honestly. Not to mention many a fan refer to their mix-and-match outfits as "Nikkis" (which clearly aren't the title character), so you see the problem lol.

Fortunately, Shining Nikki has a "Designer's Reflection" gimmick where many a suit are designed by a character in-universe, and often have both official and fanart of them wearing the outfit in question. That might work for that game when I get around to it, honestly. Thanks.
