The Legion Dead by Daylight Implications

Posted under Tags

BUR #43377 is pending approval.

create implication frank_morrison -> the_legion_(dead_by_daylight)
create implication julie_kostenko -> the_legion_(dead_by_daylight)
create implication joey_cadogan -> the_legion_(dead_by_daylight)
create implication susie_lavoie -> the_legion_(dead_by_daylight)

They are all members of The Legion as a group of killers, but they are also each referred to individually as The Legion when talking about one of them as a playable character. As far as I can see, people have been manually tagging them this way already.

It would be bizarre to have four different characters imply the same chartag just because it's a shared costume. I would say The Legion (Dead By Daylight) should only be tagged when the costume is visible, plus the individual chartag of one of these characters when you can tell it's them.

Hm. I see what you mean but only Frank and Julie share costumes that are near identical. Joey and Susie have unique costumes. You don't switch characters to play as any of them since they are all the same Killer, that's why I felt like it made sense to imply them all.

Then it makes even less sense to imply them all to the same tag.

If we establish for The Legion that the qualifier for tagging their Killer name is that their killer costumes are visible, then I feel like it would make it so that posts like post #6925793 or post #7033595 where the Killers are obviously not their in-game killer selves being tagged as The Artist (Dead By Daylight) and The Trapper (Dead By Daylight) instead of their real names that are implied or given on the wiki would not make sense. And if it's just a matter of them being a group that is referred to in-game as one Killer not being enough to warrant an implication, then does it even make sense for The Legion to be a chartag at all? If it's not referring to Frank, Julie, Susie, and Joey as characters that are that Killer, then it's primary function is just referring to their costumes which I feel like isn't enough to warrant a chartag.
