I don't like the servant class tribute pool

As it currently exists, pool #16998 is both underpopulated and kinda useless. In my mind this should be for posts like post #7479486, which showcase a sizable chunk of a class if not all known servants for it. However per the pool's description, this is the exception rather than the main feature, since it states as little as two servants from the same class are enough to qualify. This counts for stuff like random servant cosplay or even regular cosplay, making it even more diluted. (Plus for foreigners specifically half the time it's actually a creator connection courtesy of kuroboshi kouhaku.)

Compare with pool #18481 - this includes much more group shots and actual ensembles, making it a useful pool to peruse. Very few posts with less than 5 subjects in it.

So my ramblings basically boil down to gardening the pool to actual group shots or just nuking it. Could also perhaps utilize unique pools/tags for each class, as there's no real good way to currently sift through said pool by class (making it more similar to the Pokemon Type pools)

We have a microtag called class connection which combines a few different ideas would that be a good replacement?

That could work but would also need a qualifier of some kind since if you're not in the Fate trenches "class" could mean anything.

I didn’t want to make some tag like servant class connection or class connection (fate) because they don’t seem very objective and are restricted to Fate which could be mistakenly used for other series, so I made it a pool to keep it subjective until an alternative could be figured out. If there is an alternative that can be decided upon, I won’t mind seeing the pool be nuked.

I would like to explain my logic for making some of the Fate-related pools back when I was doing my FGO cleanup.

pool #18457 - They're Multiplying... -> Encompasses the -face trend seen throughout the series of essentially cloning a character a billion times and giving them slight differences in order to bloat the cast

pool #18481 - A Nation's Heroic Spirits -> brings together images of Servants who originate from the same country, ensuring they're not all -face clones and are indeed unique characters with different backstories

pool #18422 - Unusual Master/Servant Pairings -> for Master and Servant pairings that are not official, but given the series' love for parallel universes, these would be acceptable in some alternate reality

pool #18482 - Servants of a Different Class -> for Servants who are depicted in a class that they have never been shown as (yet, anyway)

pool #18464 - Manly Femboys -> not entirely Fate-related, but when I was going through images for Astolfo, I noticed some where he appeared unusually manly when he is normally depicted as a trap, so I wanted to compile those into a pool rather than make some subjective tag like manly femboy or such. I had left it with Astolfo posts, but it looks like some more posts have been added since then

I do think my main gripe is very much just "bar too low" for the pool as it currently exists. If I wanted images featuring Iskandar and Medusa together that's an easy 2-tag search. Should be at least 4 servants grouped together imo for it to be in the pool, in my mind at least. I don't mind most of the other pools you listed out, since most of them are concepts that are hard to find otherwise or have a minimum limit for inclusion higher than 2.

Sure, Servant Class Tribute could have a bunch of posts purged that only feature two characters. It might be a bit iffy with three, but four is certainly a good benchmark. It would make the pool a lot smaller, but it'd have a higher bar for inclusion at least.

trait connection is a pretty low bar as it is, so I think "this is the Rider of F/SN with the Rider of F/Z" isn't all that unreasonable.

Would be pretty bad if it gets tagged on things like "Mordred and Saber are both Sabers" though.

Ehh idk, trait connection is usually overtagged on two-person images but it can actually be helpful sometimes. Considering any image of "two characters from the series with hundreds of characters in it that happen to share one of the limited number of slots said characters are sorted into in a composition together without actually referencing said sorting in any way" doesn't seem all that helpful and seems about as useful as the posts that are tagged with voice actor connection for saber and Arcueid Brunestud because they share an english dub VA in Michelle Ruff, as if that's the only reason they'd ever be drawn together.
