create implication rapunzel_(fairy_tale) -> grimms'_fairy_tales]]
create implication rumpelstiltskin_(fairy_tale) -> grimms'_fairy_tales

create implication sleeping_beauty_(fairy_tale) -> grimms'_fairy_tales

After uploading a few fairy-tale themed posts, I noticed there's a tag for andersen's_fairy_tales but there is no tag for grimms'_fairy_tales. I think that such a tag would be helpful, but it would be a bit complicated. For one, there are various other tags such as the grimms_notes series, not to mention Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs (Disney), Cinderella (Disney Movie), and the various incarnations.

Thus, I decided to start with a sweeping bulk request to knock out tales that don't have the most sweeping of implications. There is one more to consider, which is:

imply Little Red Riding Hood (Fairy Tale) -> grimms'_fairy_tales

But that one may be a bit messier as Little Red Riding Hood (Fairy Tale) has 2.4k tags and may require some clean-up to specify which is referencing the brothers' tales and which are alternate imaginings.

iunno, open to discussion on that last one.

It happened because that is the colloquial grouping name even if it is a folktale collection not the original authors. I don't think this is comparable to modern anthologies as there is consistency across over a hundred years of publishing. While it's not always the same set people know Little_red Riding Hood (Fairy Tale) is a "Grimm's Fairy Tale."

And who exactly is trying to search for all of Grimm's fairytales specifically at the same time? What benefit does this umbrella serve?

And also The Princess and the Frog is for the Disney film (forum #365762), the fairytale is called The Frog Prince. So either way the initial BUR is wrong.

How does it happen that just a month later, someone would make a duplicate of the Grimm tag?

Just a general interest in fairy tales that just happens to coincide at the tame time? I was very busy three months ago, so I wouldn't have seen the tag originally.

Either way this pans out we currently have wikis for both Grimm's Fairy Tales and Grimms' Fairy Tales, so we oughta resolve that.

Ah, that one's on me. I was looking for grimm's fairy tales as a searchable tag, and when no posts came up I didn't think to click on the wiki. Also "Grimm's" is a typo as there are two brothers so "Grimms' " is grammatically correct.

Mmm, not surprising. This is my first BUR that I was able to get up. So, for this and your previous observation a lot of it is the growing pains of getting a BUR out for the first time. It's a bit of a learning experience on my part. Originally I didn't think to do a BUR and was going to have this as a topic of discussion, but once I started putting in the work of making the Grimms' wiki (that, too, was me), I figured may as well figure out how to do one and make it it's own batch.
