While technically not 100% accurate (Russia 2028 is the setting/cancelled original game EFT spun off from) given EFT has all of the art by merit of being a real game and is far more known this is the logical implication IMO, correct me if wrong.
Usually a franchise has one umbrella tag and then the other games are implicated on the same level so they don't cross-pollute each other. That means if someone searches the franchise tag they can get everything but if they only search the specific game then they will only get posts of that game. Accepting this implication means posts of Russia.2028 would be tagged as Escape from Tarkov. The other option, which is usually direct implication, tends to be for sequels that largely share and aren't too independent or if they're direct build-offs rather than being very distinct enough to not have results of one spill into another.
How similar are these games? Escape from Tarkov still gets a lot of art of people's OCs or recreating gameplay experiences so I wonder if it might be more logical to keep these independent and if this could be used as a series tag instead when the name of the game is actually released, assuming it doesn't stay "Russia.2028".
These tags could also stay independent for the time being until there's a bit more art of at least Russia.2028 or the game's title is released if that helps make a decision about how to sort out these tags.

Makes sense, to me, was considering the Tarkov implication as Russia 2028 is on indefinite Hiatus. IIRC it was/is to be a singleplayer open world game, unlike EFT which is the OG Extraction Shooter and is OFC multiplayer.
