Confused on the down votes, aren't protoype designs implied?
Not familiar with Half-Life's development, not going to vote, but this is an interesting question.
Beta Pokemon designs like Pichu (Prototype) don't imply the base Pokemon whereas Sailor_moon_(prototype) implies Sailor Moon.
Would be good to standardize this, blaze_the_cat_(beta_design) implies Blaze, but Sonic's was rejected a couple months ago and the BUR was questioned for not being similar enough to the final design. forum #359561

Makes sense, Prototype designs should really have a hard and fast rule for which are and aren't implied, maybe on the wiki page (as even barring implications it’d be good to know when or not to tag the character’s main tag)
