Implying Noel Rutherford

Posted under Tags

A point against implying original characters to a generic protagonist character tag is that the original character could be expanded far beyond their first intent. The artist may like the character enough to reprise them as the interpretation of another game's protagonist character and then this implication becomes invalid. Implied derivatives usually need to be very strictly that character.

The way you'll want to handle this is to tag both Fallout: New Vegas and Original on the post for the copyright, and Noelle Rutherford and Courier (Fallout: New Vegas) for the character. If the Courier has a "canon generic appearance" of sorts, then the Courier tag should be reserved for that look and you would just tag the aforementioned two copyrights plus the OC's character tag.

For gacha games we normally don't imply artist OCs to the unnamed player character tag. See for example the Kancolle Admiral or the Umamusume Trainer.

Wasn’t aware as only Gacha I’ve dabbled in is FGO and the PCs have an appearance and a canon name (Was going off how implications for fan variants of characters are done and was not aware they were treated differently then fan versions of PCs),WRS makes a fair point, and Courier 6 is much like those Gatcha protags, there’s not really a canon appearance for him.
