Hello. Like many of you must probably be aware, the touhou wiki has moved to http://en.touhouwiki.net/wiki/Touhou_Wiki , so I was wondering if it would be feasible to implement the following word filter:
touhou.wikia.com -> en.touhouwiki.net
...so that all old comments that link to the wiki (and new ones too) link to the most up-to-date info.
Is the software capable of doing that ? Would it use up too many resources ?

Yeah, about that. Maybe it's just because I suck at the internet (I don't know to utilize the API at all, for one), but I still haven't been able to search URLs in notes. Though OP here is wondering about comments, not notes.
I guess I was expecting something like a Pastebin archive with the note text? I'm afraid it's going to have to be spelled out for me.
Yeah, I was wanting to do exactly what OP is doing except with notes (though some of the URLs, like for the spellcard pages, don't correspond perfectly between the Wikia site and the new site.
AFAIK, comments are the property of the poster and normally aren't manipulated for such a minor reason. (common manipulation = delete, done because they violate the rules)
Can member/privileged-level users delete their comments? I had some issues with wrong spellcard names in comments on posts in pool #2607 and the users don't answer my dmail.

Derp. My reading comprehension has hit an all-time low lately.
Regarding comments: if you're really concerned about it, then your present strategy of just leaving non-bumping comments redirecting people seems fine to me, OP; there are only about 150 comments that have links to the old wiki.

My guess is zatchii just chose not to upload it, seeing as how the deed was already done. If there are further changes that can be made programmatically, you could try Dmailing him/her.
