Quick question

I'm thinking of uploading a recent translation of mine to danbooru but I'm unsure if this is considered furry by danbooru's standards:

The hands and shoulders are getting dangerously close. It's a strange intermediary phase. Not fully furry but random patches of fur that aren't simply cat 'gloves/shoes' like you see sometimes. Not my kind of thing but ::shrugs::

Don't upload it. If you want to upload a translation, you should upload the original instead, then add translation notes.

hmmm, I like it when translations are put on the image itself....either way I'll think about it; translation notes are losing in my mind right now just cause it would take more time.

What you like isn't really the issue, its what the standards here on Danbooru are.

You can also upload the translation and the original and parent them, and then let someone who's more handy with notes put on the translation. Make sure you leave a note in the comments or something about that, since it's kinda unusual. I don't know if this is frowned upon for being lazy, though.

The reason we want translations in notes is because more often than not, translations can be improved upon. "Hard" translations make it impossible to do so.

I've always used Felicia (from Darkstalkers) as the line between catgirl and furry. IMO, the pic in question is similar.

surasshu's "post them both and parent them" has been done here before, too, so that sounds pretty good.

Right then, either way only started translating like a month ago....started paying attention to danbooru not even a week ago. Thanks for the feedback, for now I'm just gonna hand off a zip of it to the couple of people who got me into it and once I make the corrections suggested by them I guess I'll up the originals here with notes once I have time on my hands (yay, spring break). Suppose that's better anyways because now that I've looked at it, my typesetting still sucks big time.
