Every pad comments makes me want to facepalm, then hit my face against the table.
when walking to the living room i accidentally hit my face against the wall, then accidentally trip to get a faceplant.
in other words.
the pad jokes are getting annoying, overused , and its getting old.

Get into Touhou for the characters, music and game, not the memes.. though when they are applied at correct times then they're good

i'm into touhou characters , music , games (which i pretty much still suck at them at lunatic).
Sure i dont mind a meme joke if its in the fan art/comic itself.
for example, when i was searching for a kanoko / yukari etc etc...
i found a beautiful fan art.
like wearing a tight dress, or something.
than there is always a comment ''Your way to old for that ha..*gaped*''
sure the first few times it was funny, but now its getting more ''forced''

Such doujin artists focusing too much on 'funny' memes and sexuality did contribute a lot to defaming Touhou indeed.

Nonetheless, it's those artists that take Touhou seriously who are considered to be the best Touhou doujin artists around. Haniwa, Hikawa Shou, Sakuraba Yuuki (Personal Color), Charin, Chihiro (Kemonomichi), Masaki (Burnt Croquette), Shinoasa and such, for example, never use doujin memes. Of course, they're my favorite doujin artists. So I prefer to look at the positive side of the fandom like these high-quality artists.

Well they wouldn't be completely far off on that one. Although value wouldn't be the word I would use.
