I really hope this isn't the "Ascend to a Higher Plane"-end. And I saw this right when my media player selected Faith Is For The Transient People of all the tracks on my hdd.

The many kanji in this go right over my head, but I'll try to get the most important points across ASAP.

And I think the coloring style really suits the theme of the comic, and like it despite its flaws. The "If you are worried" panel and the one before it are both really pretty.

Thanks for the compliment. I'm still learning the language, so I always hesitate to translate all but the simplest things. I see you took some liberties with my lines too.
I wanted to get the punchline first, since I thought I couldn't get the whole nine miles translated. After I did that, and found out I could maybe get the whole thing done. Then I reread the parts I translated, and thought I should stop, for my hearts' sake...
Still, the shuffle bringing up Sanae's theme can't have been a coincidence :D

As for the coloring style, it looks a bit strange. Maybe it's just my screen, but to me, it looks like neon colors, but still muted enough to be fitting. I'm kind of ambivalent about his new style, I should see more to see how it turns out.

Artist commentary just says Sanae's full of hope at being able to become a deity and Aya's still uneasy. On another subject, he mentions that a project (Sep. 6 Is Aya-Sana Day) is coming to a close for now, and that he can't believe how many people participated.

Most of the responses relate to the results of the Aya-Sana Day project. Some comment on Aya's worry and the painful yet pretty mood of the strip. No one's shouting or bursting into tears or anything like that.

She's a what amount to infant god, she needs to grow a bit, and stabilize more. It's probably a drain to keep a physical form so as she matures she'll be able to stay permanently manifested in a physical form akin to Suwako and Kanako. (Because like hell they'd let Sanae make this change if it was a bad idea! They need their Miko!)

Remember Aya's theme was originally Wind God Girl. And now she's the Wind God's Girl

I am terrified at the thought of this ending up being the last bit of Aya/Sanae Pasteltel does. Like that Aya-Sanae day being the last hurrah of this pairing.

Even if the tone of the comic seems to indicate that Sanae's not going away for good, I can't help but shed a tear. Stay strong Aya ;_;
