Whats wrong, Patchouli?

This picture gives me the impression of a Patchouli that really wishes she could go outside, but she's too sickly to be able to. I don't often see that kind of Patchouli, so I thought it was nice, in that sad way.

Should've been "A certain someone should be making off with her books today, but didn't show up 'cuz of the rain".

Is this a traditional drawing? I tried translating the Pixiv tags with Google and one of them says "pencil drawing". But this doesn't look like a pencil drawing.
