Knowing how this Grail War is going to end for him... I almost cried. Poor, poor Kariya... This was lulzy though. It would certainly explain why the crest worms hurt him more than they do Sakura.

Well, he had potential, but his circuits weren't that developed since he didn't practice any magecraft. Sakura on the otherhand has such a surplus of prana that she didn't need to worry about the worms killing her... all she had to worry about was the fact they made her constantly horny.

Nope, she'll actually die soon after F/SN too. It's just that she won't die as quickly as Kariya did. Just means more time to suffer.

She lives just fine in Heaven's Feel though, right?

Only in the first two routes and only presumably; we just haven't heard anything about her, but then again we haven't really heard anything about anyone after Fate and only Tohsaka is mentioned after UBW.

I thought the crest worms were supposed to feed on the host's prana and their lifespan in order to force the host to produce more prana?

No idea where you get the idea that she'll die "soon" from. Zouken says she won't last until the next war, but that's not really that restrictive given that the next war is at least 50 years away....
