According to SRW mechanic, Diamond Dust disallows ground-tech and deal damage while standing up from a knockdown. Wonder how it will apply here.

Still, black and white? Are they really going to be fine, being polar opposite and all that? Though the stage is perfect for Letty...

Hm... this will be interesting. It will mainly depend, I believe, on how Letty is portrayed. Aside from the fact that the field and weather favor her there's also this from her PCB profile:

"However, Letty and her fellow winter spirits as well as sufferers of hay fever know well that spring, a season of depression, comes every year. She accepts that fact and never attacks players seriously."

So whether the artist goes with her being "a Stage 1 boss" or "never attacks players seriously" will come into play.

If Letty and Lily Black manage to avoid Rumia's amulet, they can perfectly team up Youmu (if ever they would decided to fight together), but still with all the clothes ripping things, I bet something bad is going to happen, if ever the artist would include the theory about Rumia's powers.

I'm not sure if Rumia's amulet will come into play. This comic sticks closer to canon than most, while the amulet itself exists in canon the idea that it seals away her power is more of a meme.

This might mean we may see Letty get serious, with possibly epic results. This artist showed us what happened when Hina stops being nice: Aya and Suika have one unlucky day, particularly Kanako taking the latter and hitting the former with her.

Lets hope they don't knock Rumia's Ribbon otherwise shit happens.

Finding a character who isn't fighting at their full strength when they make their appearance in game is about as common as finding a character over 100 years old; I'm more worried about Lily Black than Letty. It seems everyone who debuted in PoFV is significantly more powerful than the average Touhou character. There is Aya, who regularly wins on accident. Yuuka, whose power should go without saying. Medicine, the only one to cause clothing damage to Yuuka upon beating her. Yamaxanadu, who Yukari claims is the strongest in the series. Komachi, who is probably near the level of Yamaxanadu.

Lily White is the only one I'm not too sure about. She is a fairy and no matter whose storyline is played she never canonly wins a fight. Not to mention Great Fairy War has pretty firmly established Cirno as the strongest fairy. On the other hand Lily Black herself only shows up on Yamaxanadu's stage (technically she is Lily White cosplaying as Yamaxanadu) implying she is stronger than Lily White as long as they are treated as separate characters. Still, because of her association with such a powerful cast she is not worth writing off.

Further over-thinking this I predict that none of that will matter because so far the artist seems to be a Youmu type of person. Her team will probably win.

Actually Lily Black is just Lily White just changing her outfits, and her style seems to be either way indiscriminate danmaku spraying. Perhaps she could rival Cirno in the spring. Though to be honest Cirno would be slightly weakened in the spring as well as in Fairy wars, Cirno starts the fight in spring as not to make things too easy for her.

Argh, don't remind me of that...

After looking at this page again, it makes me wonder if the left team winning 7/8 times will play a factor with the second half of the tournament.
