I wonder if all the bets will pay out at that rate? I assume the odds were longer when Reimu put in her bet, and will pay out at the rate from when she placed her bet.

She's a flower youkai, not a celestial. I really don't think she gonna leave without a scratch. There is a diffrence between high attack and high defense...

They'll pretty much have to find an opening to attack, then use that chance to coordinate together to combo her arse to oblivion, Tales style.

Lets just say that even if they wounded yuuka, we cannot forget how hardcore she is. And this yuuka, even though just a youkai, is on the same level of destruction as flandre and mima though she rarely comes in close to her prey, so there goes your theory, i'll give you credit for it. Someone prepare an ICU and 5 coffins

That doesn't prove much, besides, being that overconfident can lead to a pretty big loss.

May I remind you that a certain Ice fairy is powerful enough to defeat okku? that kind of power is pretty much on par Flandres, if I do say so myself.

Wriggle is really motivated from the fact that she'll win yuuka's heart if they win, so she has blind love on her side.

So the artist drew post #1053669 all the way back in June of 2010. It makes me wonder how long he's been planning this comic. I don't see any headstones in the future. Except maybe for Wriggle, who seems to attract them.

But it didn't prove anything for their case either, Rumia's basically cooked up, Wriggle's in masoschitic mode and so on, I still cannot say they won't die trying. So just a preposition for Yuuka, teach them the very light things, you can teach them anyway you want provided that they live through, if you want blood, don't spill my mystia, yousei, wriggle and cirno's blood, spill Rumia's instead :D

And truth be told, I prefer team cirno (except rumia) to yuuka, i don't favoritise but because I know how powerful yuuka is and how much my favorites had to struggle to survive. So I only wished that Rumia should not have dragged them to their impending death

Ah, but you forget that Rumia's plan was carefully thought out from the beginning! There's no doubt that she has already calculated almost every outcome. With sheer numbers and cunning, there's a high chance that Team 9 will probably defeat the overpowered plant!

Reimu should've kept her big mouth shut. She's going to be locked into the lower odds. Unless she also bets the over/under on how long it takes Team 9 to beat Yuuka or how many members of Team 9 make it and is right, she's not going to make nearly as much money as she was before.

Of course, this is assuming that "everything Reimu has" is a non-zero number.

And there's nothing that suggests Rumia wouldn't do it, you know how cunning she was in the comic. If you so desperately wish that team cirno somehow wins without a scratch and its that it was yuuka's plan to let them win.

If you thing that the only way to beat Yuuka was to sacrifice her teammates, then you are very foolish my friend. And I didn't say that none of them would leave unscathed, and I highly doubt she's that clever, or at least as clever as Rumia in this comic. She's mostly raw power, Yukari she aint!

Lets be clear here: i have the ideology that both team cirno and yuuka should both benefit without one being destroyed or so. Whats yours?

And to top it off, anyone can put on an arrogant face and make it seem like they are clever, the real clever people don't do that.

Well Yuuka wants companionship, and Rumia wants people to stop calling her and her friends weak, so it's possible that they both can get what they get, but not after they both beat the crud out of eachother.

Like Reimu said, the spellcard system allows the weak to beat the strong, for instance, Cirno has canonically beaten both Okku once, and Marisa twice! If you consider flower view as well, Mystia is just as tough(But not as brave). If the term, "Wriggle Kick" has any hold, wriggle might have a "Sucker punch" advantage (or masochist immunity, whatever floats your boat). I've always seen Daiyousei as a Ninja maid, or a elite former fairy maid, with her kunai danmaku, and teleporting (if anybody ever remembers!) or maybe healer, I dunno. Rumia can manipulate darkness, that can aid nocturnal creatures, like wriggle and mystia, and in this comic, a cunning gal! Which personally, is refreshing pace from the general "waha" portrayal.

very true, you do have a point. There was another pool which crosses touhou with bomberman. Yuuka as we know was strong and dominated Wriggle in the first few posts, but she never cross the line as to destroy Wriggle's existence. However, despite the power of yuuka, she still lost to Wriggle as Wriggle was more hyperactive. Yes i don't like to see Yuuka lose BUT, Wriggle requested that the loser shall teach the winner how to make better danmaku! i am fine with it this way because it does not damage both parties and this shows how much Wriggle actually loves Yuuka, because wriggle wish to be on yuuka's level that i find them a romantic couple. Back to this pool, I'm fine with whatever result there is, provided that this does not make yuuka look weak, Rumia don't get anymore cocky (because her face makes me feel like punching it) and it follows the pool's flow of logic and story.

What can I say, Chado makes great fight doujinshis, (although Wriggle was trolling her, as payback from all the bullying, so there was no indication of 'love' there). And a battle isn't really interesting if it's one-sided, so I agree with you there. Although I feel the exact opposite for Rumia, I'm really loving that sneaky little bastard!

Gensokyo may do things differently, but here the amount of payout is already on the ticket when you purchase it.
