Anyway, it's lunarisaileron. I dunno if he gathered haters in Deviantart and they're coming here to downvotes his stuff, or people are just too japanophile to accept an english comic in a site that makes them feel nipponjin, but this hate is getting a little TOO dumb, mainly considering that there's worse "humor" around.

Actaully it's simply that his art is bad. Though the piss poor pass at humor doesn't help.

I have to agree, I don't think the "poorly drawn" really holds water. Look at sei63's SexuAlice or, as screamrita said, Yoshika-chan. To me, those are "poorly drawn". And, again as screamrita already said, what other people find funny, others won't.

Humor is taken into account only for low-quality work. If it's sufficiently charming or funny, it might, just MIGHT, get a pass. This work thus fails both the main quality check and the humor saving throw.

The series was passable in the first strips, which is why it's kept. Then the quality went down, but they continue to be accepted because of "part of pool" argument.

Humor should be taken into account, it would be the only thing that would have protected this comic. You can take subjectivity into account, but that is only when it comes to whether or not certain types of humor applies to you. if someone who likes that humor can say that its not funny, then you're out of luck.

We've been over this before, but this is not a good series.

Personally, I'd throw the entire pool back into moderation queue.

And to repeat, if the entire point of the comic is that its a gag 4koma with basic art, or if its about humor in general, you damn well better expect that its going to be judged on the merit of its humor.

It isn't. Most of them are vertical strips with no definite numbers of panels.

I don't know from where people had this "this has to be hilarious to be worth being on danbooru". There are pools that have completely non sensical strips (and surprise surprise, they're actually supposed to be funny since they're 4komas).
But hey let's flag the filthy american gaijin.

I tend to be quite generous when asking myself whether an image looks good enough to be on Danbooru... or actually pretty much anything in general, and I'm not in favor of this series. Which is saying something from me.

I don't believe ignoring is what he did. Being fully colored doesn't do anything to quality of the image, and it still remains mostly agreed that the quality of this pool is quite bad. A sense of sequence - it's been discussed before. Many times, and why it doesn't stand as good reason for keeping this.

Change of pace, eh? I'm not a fan of the fandom jokes either. In fact I hate it, probably at least as much as you do. But change of pace doesn't make this comic good either. I was glad to see an English comic, since it would have a very different perspective than the normal Japanese ones (hence, as you said, a change of pace) and I barely read a few pages before I was disgusted at the 'comedy' this series adopted.

Howto:upload. I think it's been said over and over again. A bad image can be allowed to stay on Danbooru if its comedy value is approved. Put another way, what Anelaid said.

Other badly drawn comics? I don't care much about them. I'm not exactly in favor of pools like that Rasen-something either. It's all about how people in general think about the pools. If enough people argue that those pools should also be deleted, then they too will be subjected to flagging. Subjectivity and difference in opinions. It's that signed urinal and Jesus pickled in piss all over again.

I am not understanding your logic in the least. You believe the pool to be not very humorous, yet when others say they believe it is they're 'wrong', yet you clearly state that humor is a subjective term. Which it is, only further proving my point, that your opinion holds the same merit as many others, not that your opinion holds more then others. So please, Give us all one GOOD reason that is not subjective in any way as to why this entire pool should be deleted. It's funny to everyone who's stated so except for YOU and maybe a few others who havent spoken up. So where exactly do you get off thinking you're suddenly better then everyone else?

You're pretty much missing the discussions on the forum then. Personally? I'd have this down. Yoshika-chan's a pretty good story, but that's about it. Drawing wise, it's on the verge of getting killed and much as I like it, I'll have to agree because even the story can't let it stay here.

btw, P.Suzuki's appeal isn't really good, neither to Vezon as "Part of pool" is literally over used. The only appeal that merits something is CGRascal.

Uh the art quality is bad.
If its on colour or black and white doesnt really actually matter. Colour doesnt make it better.
The humor its not enough of a token to make something good sometimes.
This site is still managed by mods who decided what stays. So... deal with it. I had some pictures rejected even though imo they looked good enough, the art quality was superior to this ones yet they didnt aprove them.

If you want to call out on stuff like this, rather than complain about this one (since they decide what to do anyways)... Look for others that may be approved but with the same bad quality art. In the end you can even use this ones as a tool as something that wasnt approved only because of art.

Haha. Opinions are definitely subjective. But Anelaid isn't just saying this pool isn't humorous base on his opinion alone. Like I said, the numbers. The majority of the opinions point towards the agreement that this pool is neither well-drawn nor amusing.

You count only the appealing people and flagging people and talk about numbers? Not to mention, like RaymooHakurei said the "part of pool" appeal doesn't stand when the entire pool is put on the chopping block. It's not even exactly agreeing with your defense of this pool's quality.
