Why is it that the most famous murderer of all time causes such a stir but the king of the jews doesn't?

Maybe because he looks so plain. He looks like a young man...with a headband...and that's about it.

If you pay attention to the debates around Jack the Ripper, it all about why is this person being portrayed as a loli with minimal clothing instead of a mysterious man with a dark persona.

    But David is just like....David.

Because Dave isn't genderswapped. His Phantasms are also not so overpowered and quite standard, a bit dumb even (Hamesh Avanim gives 4 warning shots and 1 guaranteed hit... what for?).

I imagine right now Indian otaku are either raging on or worshipping Karna. Dude looks straight out of Final Fantasy or something.

Well, Dave does have the Ark of the Covenent, in all its Raiders of the Lost Ark face-melting glory. So about that overpowered statement...?

Its effect is narrow but absolute;...

Compared with the guy carrying two nukes, The Ark is less powerful. Presuming that avoiding your face melted is simply turning your backside to face The Ark (like RoTLA), it is less powerful.

In the Bible, that's exactly what David did to fell the giant, IIRC.

    Nope.

"So it was, when the Philistine arose and came and drew near to meet David, that David hurried and ran toward the army to meet the Philistine. Then David put his hand in his bag and took out a stone, and he slung it and struck the Philistine in his forehead, so that the stone sank into his forehead, and he fell on his face to the earth." 1 Samuel 17:48-49, NKJV

No warning shots, just a single stone hit Goliath. One shot, one kill. They did get the whole "take the target's items" thing correct since right after killing Goliath with the stone, David takes Goliath's sword and cuts off the former owner's head. He then takes Goliath's sword, head, and armor as war trophies.

I know I'm late, but Hamesh Avanim (literally "Five Stones") is just an Israeli version of Knucklebones/Jacks that uses five identical "stones" (metal cubes with slightly chipped corners, 1 centimeter on a side). if you wanna know more, auto-translate the Hebrew Wikipedia page for it into English, it goes into a crap ton of detail on it.
