And man, Namek Dragon's more or less given what was asked of him without actually making them wishes. I wish genies were as nice as that.

Maybe, or the Namek Dragon was too lazy for search a friend for Flan, a friend that cannot be broken

Hmmm....maybe it would be also a good idea to give her an umbrella or put a little cloud over her head (vampire's old problem).

Sunlight won't kill Remi or Flan instead it weakens them somewhat and I believe causes discomfort or pain. If anything the weakening would be an advantage for helping flan make friends.
