I saw all the images of this pool, and all made me feel really sad, only Flan's and Reimu's images made me laugh a little at the end, however, this image is crushing my heart the most that the others images.

Does she only want him/her to only speak to her? That's pretty selfish. Maybe the lover gets fed up with how clingy she is and tries to put her in her place. Success varies. :P

The first question is how much Momiji weighs. She's a fighter, so even if she's small and lithe, I think it's safe to assume a weight of, say, 55 kg.
Let's play the pessimist first: the TDlo (Lowest Reported Toxic Dose) of theobromine, the active component of chocolate, is 16mg/kg, which brings her toxic dose to 55kg * 16mg/kg = 0,88g of theobromine, or ~1,257 grams of 70% dark chocolate. So it's not inconceivable that she begins to show symptoms of poisoning (nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and increased urination) from just a few bites of dark chocolate. The more she eats, the more severe her symptoms will become, progressing to cardiac arrhythmias, epileptic seizures, internal bleeding, heart attacks, and eventually death.
Now let's go the slightly more optimistic, but sadder way: LD50. The LD50 for dogs is 300mg/kg, giving us a median lethal dose of 55kg * 300mg/kg = 16,5g of theobromine, found in 23,571g of the aforementioned 70% dark chocolate. So still, eating about one-fifth of a Lindt 70% dark chocolate bar (weighs 100g) will have a 50% of killing her, while a whole bar will almost certainly do her in. Being a dog sucks when it comes to chocolate...
Another reason why Japan hasn't made animal girls yet. People will abuse them, and when they're as cute as Momiji and word about the abuse starts spreading, people(like me) will take the matter into their own hands and who ever I catch abusing an animal girl wont even have time to scream in agony, i'll have them captured so fast, and when i'm done, I will probably have put a whole new meaning on torture.
