Also, you really like abuse pictures don't you? Lol.

edit: I see, there might be hope for this guy yet.

That one originally comes second. Matter of not noticing this one earlier, makes it seem otherwise in danbooru case.

I'd like to thank whomever contributed to the heavy tagging.

They're different from the usual uploads people do, so I try to put them out there. It all depends, it's merely the emotions you see here.

Plus the style is something I enjoy. Also the emotions are different from what the fanbase is accustomed to. (although I should let them speak for themselves.)

You don't have access to the technology which is required for time travel. You need additional clearance for this even to occur.

I take it back. Does he hate the touhou characters or something? Or does he just loves to abuse them?

I find it interesting that people on this site can admit to liking pictures of domestic violence and girls generally being abused.

Psychologists would have a field day.

Psychologists would have a field day with anything on the internet according to that logic. Trolling is fun, it's just that it's also mean so nice people don't do it.

You know, it's possible that some can because of the anonymity. If liking anime is something they hide from the world at large, they're bound to use a different handle here than the rest of the net. So the borderline-psychopathic posts can't be linked back to them, hence the freedom of admission.

As for what makes those people like this in the first place, I'd have to ask my friend studying psych. It might have something to do with troubled pasts, catharsis via projection, and these girls being non-existent in the first place, so no guilt associated with them. Although I'm not a psychologist, but that's my two cents.

You've hit the nail on the head for some people in some cases. To be honest however, I enjoy a variety of things on this site, so when I upload things, they're going to be a little random at best. For some people though, it is a escape from reality in which they have more power and control within that area compared to other areas they have a poor grasp on them.

On a side note, a lot of people I've came across in my time on the internet that seem to have a unorthodox connection to anime in general, they are pretty frequent for me to see since I'm in purgatory when it comes with anime. It's quite an experience.

Actually, humans liking bad things is not weird. Everybody has some level of atraction to disgusting things, wether they say it or not; it's the thrill of it, a different sensation. No, the evil part would be doing this to real people, specially for the same reasons.
That being said, my personal likings tend to sweeter things, specially on stand-alone works. But on actual stories, I don't mind a little of drama, mental scarring, or even physical scarring (on guys too, don't think I'm not fair here); if there's a happy end, it's happier, or at least brings a bigger impact, if there's the right amount of it and the story really needs it.
Returning to track, yes, the author is quite a douche.

Personally, I think those that are attracted to this sort of stuff, as in honestly liking the sight of abuse and not just randomly selecting something to upload, have some sort of repressed memory, or a remnant memory of abuse (not necessarily physical abuse, possibly something as small as being harshly told off at the wrong time) at a significant time in their lives that influences their behavior.
The Komeiji sisters could sure give the study of psychology a boost, if we could ask them... :D

Another accurate nail strike. Some cases are just wrong place, wrong time occurences while others can go back to one's childhood and they use illusion of a reason as to convince their own being as it's another reason. In the end, we all have inefficient pieces within us all, but we have our own ways of dealing with it.

Another thing is what's considered wierd. I will say these words and I will only say them once: "normality is a concept that varies from person to person." I say that because I've seen many views of things over the years (and paid attention to it.) Abuse can run deep in an individual's blood, and you never know how it will affect them and when.

I think you guys are just over thinking this. He's probably drawing this stuff because he finds these expressions interesting/cute, and probably gets a good laughs at all the people who get offended by it.

    Who's trolling?

@ThunderBird: I like this because I like feminine fragility and beauty. Please be sure to mention that to your friend. None of those excuses you listed (troubled past, etc.) apply to me, BTW.

There are always exceptions, especially in psychology.
Anyway, I'm not exactly sure these portray fragility the way I'd want to see it, but that's just the knight in me talking...

Heh, hey Black Rynex, thanks for uploading them. I like this guys work, and I don't really get the rage over them, however amusing they are. I'm just hoping I'm getting as much laughs as the artist is about them.

Edit:I fail to see how liking his works equates to troubled childhood or past. Enlighten me, please.

As I've said before, there's nothing wrong with this guy's work. At least in some sort of moralistic sense. I'm not a big enough art buff to critique much.

But it's art. This whole series, this whole concept of drawing characters, is perfectly all right, because art is supposed to touch you at a base level. It can be funny, sad, inspiring, depressing, rage inducing, or whatever. If it invokes a reaction, it's done its job. And based on this criteria, this pool is pretty damn effective.

I don't understand, this makes you laugh? That's a bit troubling. That's no good isn't it?

I observe all the pictures this artist draws and I am indifferent to them, they are afterall simply images of fiction. I think in all honesty, this artist is brilliant, he's managed to stir up emotions so vividly from simple things.

The knight in me is slightly offended by these, even though I'm generally indifferent to fiction. There are, however, a few pictures that stir me at some basic level.
post #1061869, post #840377, and sasakame_(pasteltel)'s work in general are a few examples. It's not always the art, sometimes it's the writing, but these are all brilliant in their own way.
Gaoo's work, however, feels more like wanton abuse and cruelty than good writing. Fictional characters are one thing, if I saw this happen in real life, the one doing this would not be walking away, especially if I saw him hit the girl.

I like those pictures too, for much the same reasons I like Gaoo's stuff. It often feels good to feel bad.

Crossing over to another side once or twice never killed someone. (unless it was a large running jump.)

Then again, maybe it's just a rush of adrenaline, I wouldn't know. I'm not anyone else, just me.
