Well, this left me rather depressed... I think this might deserve to go in the 'Tragedy of Long LIfe' pool but I'm not sure, as it might just be me getting that feeling.

It's ambiguous enough, I think. Although Saria's expression in the last panel suggests she's either taking a philosophical approach to her loss, or she just got over it quickly... which is kinda depressing, actually, if you think about it.

My guess would be philosophical, though yeah, it's a sort of bittersweet thing. I like this piece - It's simple but carries a nice emotion to it.

The artist's title for it on pixiv is basically "We'll always be friends."

Only in the Majora's Mask timeline where he returns to the past at the end of the game and lives as an unknown hero.
