Hey its just her first appearance so of course the way they act will seem a bit wooden at first. just wait until until the author gives her some more depth, her personality will reach a whole new dimension.

I dunno, we need characters that feels alive, not just some cardboard cut-out, y'know?

They are awfully calm about encountering and fighting a legendary golem.

Gallade (Fighting/Psychic) has type advantage over Registeel (Steel).

Also, Blissey is a much more terrifying opponent unless you have a physically attacking Pokemon.
