The demon aspect of her in contrast with her childlike exterior is not shown enough, authors choosing to focus on the moe and charisma break instead. Sad, really.

That contrast is what makes me like her so much though. She's cute as it is and it makes her badass/terrifying moments that much more powerful like in Chado's Yukari vs Ran series. I almost pissed myself at that one page in part 6.

All very true, but what really made me snort in amusement was that THIS Sakuya was getting a nosebleed from Remi's terrifying side. Way to play with conventions.

God yes.

It does seem that too often authors do forget that vampires are a singular race, one that had to have their own accords when they arrived. They are as terrifyingly powerful in their own special way as the oni.

That's quite the rapeface there.
