    Crocomire Defeated

    Good Lord, What have I done!

    So, I know some people have drawn Crocomire pictures similar to this before but I don't think anybody has ever drawn the part where his crumbling skeleton breaks through the wall. That scene in Super Metroid was always one of my favorites, a very memorable sequence in a game full of very memorable sequences. I wanted it to look like his melting skin was cooling and partially hardening to his bones, nasty...

    I always felt a little sorry after Crocomire died, poor little bastard.

    Alignn, think of Guro as a sexual fetish. Something some people can get off with. You usually can tell because instead of acting as if it were an injury, the characters seem relatively OK, or are even getting aroused.

    this is just a dead monster who tried to get one final attack on Samus. A near identical scenario than what happened in Nintendo's game

    The way I view it is that nintendo was sad there were no metroid games on the CD-i so all games after super metroid were made in the spirit of games like hotel mario and faces of evil. I believe Other M validates this theory.

    Crocomire doesn't show up in Other M you dummy. He's only in Super Metroid.

    I never said he did.

    Just agreeing with the prevoius poster about super metroid being the best of the series by making a non sequitur about the state of recent metroid games. In hindsight I probably should have began my post with "of course it is" to make that more obvious.

    IMO, Latex Fetish Samus really killed the character of Samus Aran.
