This is pretty close to a Stages Gathering, if you extend stage 5 to include other penultimate bosses like Komachi. Reimu would still be the odd one out here.

Here's an interesting tidbit, in both Koumajou Densetsu 2 & in Youyou Kengeki Musou (Sakuya & Youmu's the main character, respectively), Reimu IS the 5th boss. Given that KD2 has 8 stages while YKM has 6. Not part of the main games but it's an interesting idea.

There is a game where you danmaku against Marisa and Reimu (aside from TH09 and fighters). I can think of one from PC-98 and I am certain there was another... Th08 was it?
The PC-98 one was Lotus Land Story, and Reimu was level 4 there as well.
However, Reimu might be said to be a penultimate boss there (in Marisa's path)... because the final boss, Yuuka, is the boss of both level 5 and 6. But that's really stretching things.
