Not a bad potential for P6, what with P5's Igor being a fake Igor. So since Atlus had gone so far as to make their inability to recast Tanonaka Isamu(P3 and P4 Igor) as a plot point, Minato could just take the role over altogether in future installments since people had been clamoring so much for his return.
I'd rather see him return in a proper, major main series role than just in spinoffs like P4A just for the sake of fanservice. Though considering P5 having its own share of incomplete plot points, a P4G style expanded game could be possible, though the chance of Minato appearing for that still would be minuscule at best.
Whatever it is, just having Orpheus Telos + Thanatos + Messiah secret boss fight would be enough for me.
