Just gonna pop in to say...

"Style" is not an excuse for poor quality. If it can't stand up on its own merits style is not going to matter one bit.

And I'm not convinced this is style and not just bad chibi art anyway. A cursory glance at the chibi tag shows major differences in... just about everything.
